To make money doing nothing in first days of internet was an easy task. There was no competition, search engines ranked on different way than today, everything was easier. Today try to search in Google “make money online” or similar query and You will be amazed how much results You will find. There is a lot of sites fighting for first page or first place.
There isn’t much in the way of market moving news this morning. Our markets are lower, mostly taking their cue from overseas markets, which sold off again overnight. Shanghai fell -4.3%, with Hong Kong and Japan lower as well.
I suppose the main attraction of formalism to judges is that it makes them feel like somebody or rather something else (”the law”) is pulling the trigger. Thus morally outrageous conclusions, such as the idea that there’s nothing illegal about executing an innocent man, have a certain perverse functionality to the formalist, since they “prove” to him that he’s really doing law, since of course he would never countenance such an outcome himself.
